Dear Ms. Pat:

This Sunday will be one week since we gave our Double Yellow head Parrot "Bart" to you. We can not thank you enough for providing a home for our feathered friend and many more you have taken in. I hope whomever is reading this realizes the birds you give "freedom" to are not all mistreated or abused. Some come from loving homes. As for my husband and I, our life has changed and Bart became demanding of time that we just didn't have. We found out afterwards that Bart was a female and she just needed companionship and that was one thing we didn't know or didn't have. I thank you for knowing enough about birds that you recognized all the signs of loneliness that one bird craves the attention of another of their kind. If anyone is thinking about adoption please do your homework and if you are a bird owner that might be at wits end not knowing what to do with your demanding bird...please I promise you Pat will find an awesome home for your loving pet.
Thank you again Ms. Pat....I miss our Bartie, but I know its just me...I know he/she is fine!
