OMA CHUCKA LEAO
By Lola

I have known Pat for over 7 or 8 yrs now and Thank God I do. She has helped me so many times I would be typing all day but, I narrowed it down to 1 my Oma: Her official name is OMA CHUCKA LEAO PER MY 3 yr. old at the time now 9. Well, I decided I would like to breed my Kisser [rip] and get a mate because, he was so sweet never had one like him again, so I called a pet store for birds in Honesdale,They had a pure white female cockatiel so a friend of mine picked her up for me while I was at work. When I got her home she was just petrified and took a hold of my finger, then started to fly right into a wall. Well, she just didn't act right at all and well, I called PAT. She took my Oma in, took her to MANY vet appointments and cared for Miss. Oma until her recent passing. I am sure PAT did by far a better job than I ever could have with OMA and this is another reason why Pat is so particular about who adopts her birds, Because a situation like this, I was a single mom who worked full time back then and could not provide the care this bird needed so PAT did, with no cost to me. So, lesson learned and praises to my friend and bird mentor Pat.By the way Miss. Oma turned out to be partially blind so you could imagine the care she required.
PEACE ALWAYS

Lara aka Lola
