Outside the open window
The morning air is all awash with angels.

TO THE PERSON WHO TIRED TO DISCREDIT MY PARROT RESCUE:
THANK YOU!!!
I know who you are and it’s ok.

LOOK WHAT YOU HAVE DONE…..
YOU TRIED TO CLOSE MY DOOR AND GOD OPENED THE WINDOWS.
Thank you to all who spoke up!!!!!!!

I am looking at a Thousand $ vet bill from Creature Comforts, and think ---you have no idea.
I am sitting here at 1 a.m. with a bird that may not make it through the night, but he will not die alone. You have no clue - finding a bird on my door step with no beak or blind. You have not the slightest idea on what it takes to run a Parrot Rescue. I’m not complaining, just venting
. I will care for them all, feathered and featherless.

THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN ON BRINGING ATTENTION TO ALL OF THE BIRDS THAT NEED TO BE PLACED. Funny how things work out…. I LOVE MY LIFE!

MYHOUSEOFWINGS - PAT

Friends are kisses blown to us by angels

It never ceases to amaze me to what depths of depravity one can allow themselves to fall. The heinous implications put forth by this person are deplorable and unfounded. I met the Pat from My House of Wings when I was at the deepest despair in my life. With no where to turn and breath away from losing my place of residence, this woman heard about my dilemma and dropped everything to travel to my home in the middle of the night to help, give comfort, and spiritual assurance that all would be well. She saved my birds, she saved my sanity, and for this I will be forever grateful. She did everything to guide and assist me in a smooth transition to safer ground. She came bearing gifts to comfort me. My beautiful birds were placed into wonderful homes which were carefully and methodically screened to assure their safety and welfare. Least I forget - when my husband was in a car accident, she dropped everything, ran to my home and escorted me to the ER where she picked up my husband and brought him home and comforted him. She is a most beautiful, kind, caring, loving, and compassionate angel whom walks upon this earth. She has restored my faith in mankind and gives everything to bring birds to safety and good journey to a new home. I have worked in bird stores and have seen unfathomable injustices done to birds by neglectful and irresponsible owners. Yes. Amongst the healthy and beautifully nurtured and healthy birds, she has also made it her mission to dedicate herself to lovingly rescue, rehabilitate, and might I add, pay the vet bills out of her own pocket for these birds. It is said that in a lifetime if you can say that you have five true friends, you are blessed. This woman is at the top of my list and far above the rest. She is the personification of the Creator’s desire for us to love each other and all living things. She is my friend, my mentor, my sister and a Blessing to all the Creator’s beautiful creations. To this woman whom has deliberately posted with such mal-intent I pray for you, because you will indeed answer to a higher power.

Love and An Abundance of Blessings,
Patricia

WOW, the post above this one is beautiful and SO True! She is exactly all you wrote. Well said. If you have her in your life, you are truely blessed. Not only does she care for birds, but pets of all kinds and people as well.

It never seems to amaze me what some people will do to try and hurt someone else. This person was probably turned down from adopting a bird. My House of Wings is doing wonderful work for these birds and she is truly a good judge of character. All of my precious birds were adopted from My House of Wings, two macaws, a conure, and an amazon. And any time I can get my hands on fruits and vegetables, I deliver it to her. I pray that no weapon formed against My House of Wings shall prosper, and any word wich rises up against this wonderful women in judgment, GOD shall condemn. I'm here for you My House of Wings. Edwin

I have been to this SUPPOSEDLY Wacko Woman's Rescue...I personally think she is a GREAT woman...She cares very much for her birds and the homes they are getting...I went there looking for a blue and gold macaw for myself and a hyacinth macaw for my brother....I answered the woman's questions and was approved to adopt the blue and gold macaw I wanted but she insisted she meet my brother before adopting out the hyacinth macaw so she could be sure it was getting a good home as well...I took no offense in her NOT just taking or word for it, cause she was right....And I'd have definitely said the same thing if I was in her shoes....I was to return a week later to pick up my blue and gold macaw, but when a family emergency occured and I could not adopt the bird she was also very understanding and appreciated my honesty....She also remembered me months later when I called her again with the interest...I plan on returning to her RESCUE in one week to adopt one of her macaws...If you ask me, this woman is a Saint Among Saints for birds....And as far as her RUNNING down the street to catch a bird that ACCIDENTALLY got away....It happens to the best of us....It just shows me how much she really CARES about these birds if she is willing to run after them to bring them back to her RESCUE where her birds are well loved and well taken care of!!!!!!!!!!

I'll have you know that I had been to that rescue many a times and I know this "crazy woman" pretty good. She's adopted to me MANY Amazons in the past, not to mention a cute lil Conure for my daughter, because she knows me and trusts me that I would take good care of these birds. She doesn't just give them to anyone, and her prices are very reasonable considering the prices you'd pay in a store, If you can find what your looking for around here even. There wasn't one time that I needed something that she turned me down. I was given cages to even help me house these birds and even help with questions day or night. So, ANYONE who would say bad things is probably just upset that they were turned down for one reason or another and they're trying to take revenge. If thats the price shes gotta pay to make sure these birds aren't housed to just anyone, then so be it, its worth it.
Good Job "Crazy Lady"!
Your Friend,
Amazon Woman!

I love My House of Wings. They have helped me find my companion Paco and I refer them to everyone that I see that wants a bird. The birds there are well taken care of and vetted often. The staff are friendly and will go out of their way to help out a bird in need. It is a great rescue and I bet whoever is bashing them was denied a bird since they screen very carefully. Thank you everyone!

If you were a true parrot lover, you would wanna help the "aggresive sick injured unwanted" parrots..and pay the small adoption fee. If you qualified, which from by your post, u obviously have no clue. Best of luck to you, and by the way.. she is Licensed and Inspected.. so ur just outta luck if "someone turns her in", they wont get anywhere...

Why flag people like My House of Wings, the dog house, and all the people who take animals into there homes that are trying to save them from the aspca and the streets? These people are trying to do some good! No one wants to hold these babies in there arms at night so they know they died with someone in a warm home!!! Without these people they die on the streets or in a cold room at the pound!!!

May angels rest beside your door,
May you hear their voices sing.
May you feel their loving care for you,
May you hear their peace bells ring.
May angels always care for you,
And not let you trip and fall,
May they bear you up on angel's wings,
May they keep you standing tall.
May they whisper wisdom in your ear,
May they touch you when you need,
May they remove from you each trace of fear,
May they keep you from feeling greed.
May they fill you with their presence,
May they show you love untold,
May they always stand beside you
And make you ever bold.
May they teach you what you need to know
About life here and here-after.
May they fill you always with their love
And give you the gift of laughter
